Construction of the new Future Institute building at Dollar Academy is moving fast and the circular footprint of the Grimshaw Architect’s designed building is beginning to take shape. Soil is moved to safe storage until it can be mounded up against the side of the building to create it’s final, buried form.

Meadow slopes will encompass the building and sweep down to create a biodiverse sculptural landscape set within the Grade A listed grounds at Dollar Academy. The new building and associated landscape will be the home of the FIDA curriculum which provides learning experiences to help build a sustainable future, underpinned by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
